Paul Daly is a multi award winning landscape and commercial photographer who is based in Christchurch, New Zealand. Specializing in landscape imagery, he not only photographs the
landscape itself, but uses it as a location for his commercial imagery.

Paul's imagery has been seen in a large range of publications from books, calendars and postcards, to product packaging, web sites and television commercials. Art prints of Paul's landscapes have been shipped to all corners of the globe, and have been installed in corporate offices around New Zealand.

A Qualified Commercial member of New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography (NZIPP). Paul is also an award winning Associate member though the associations honors system, that
recognizes a photographers commitment to constantly push the creative boundaries, question the norm and encourage the constant learning of the art of photography.

Paul has been in high demand lecturing on landscape photography, digital capture and the resulting computer based post production, at both a tertiary level at the University of Canterbury, at secondary level in adult continuing education, and at an amateur level through local camera clubs.

Paul's Philosophy is that he believes in making a photograph, not "taking a photo" or a "snapshot". There is a process involved, observing, understanding the potential, deciding when to shoot....sunrise, sunset, winter or summer or the many variables in between.
